Coinciding with the 1st Edition print run, shadowless cards were a limited print without the 1st Edition stamp. Several updates were then made to the card style, notably adding a shadow, giving this limited print the "shadowless" name.

Series: Base Set

The word "defending" has a typo '.'. Since there is an actual space along with the dot between the D and e in Defending, this is not a printing process error. This is a typesetting error, and one that seemingly got noticed and corrected very quickly. Some analysis from (zandergb) conclues there are specific Overgrowth Deck boxes that may be the source of the error.
