Navigate the App

TopVault uses a tab-based layout so you can move between collection tracking, planning, and reference lookup without losing context. On mobile, you see six tabs plus a center scan button. On wider screens, the scan action moves to the top-right area.

Home

Home is your profile and activity dashboard. It shows your profile information, recent activity, and provides quick access to:

  • Transaction history: view all your past trades.
  • Bookmarks: items you have saved for later.
  • Settings: app preferences and configuration.
  • Profile editing: update your display name and information.

Home also offers a help menu with guided tooltips for new users.

Goals

Goals is where progress-oriented tracking lives. The page shows all your goals as summary cards with their name, color, item counts, value, and completion percentage (for completion-mode goals).

From the Goals tab you can:

  • Create a new goal: tap "Create goal" to start a new tracking list.
  • View trends: see charts of how your goals' scores and values have changed over time.
  • Reorder: toggle reorder mode to drag goals into your preferred order.
  • Open any goal to see its full detail view with items, filters, and metrics.

For full details, see Goals.

Collection

Collection shows every item you own and track. Use it to review your inventory, inspect individual items, and take bulk actions.

Key features:

  • Filter and sort by name, grade, release date, price, authenticator, and more.
  • Multi-select for bulk operations on your items.
  • Start a trade directly from your collection.
  • View trends for your overall collection value.
  • Share your collection with a link.
  • Toggle view modes: switch between list and tile layouts on wider screens.

For managing items, see Manage Your Collection.

Scan / Add new

The center button on mobile (or the top-right action on desktop) opens the scan and add workflow. This is the fastest way to add items:

  • Camera scan: use your device camera for real-time card detection.
  • Photo upload: select photos from your library for matching.
  • Manual search: fall back to text search if scanning does not find a match.

The scan modal supports adding items directly to your collection or to an active trade.

Search is the reference side of TopVault. Use it to browse the database, look up specific cards, compare variants, and explore series and generations.

Key features:

  • Text search with results grouped by series.
  • Generation and series browsing for exploring the full catalog.
  • Filters for sort order, collected status, item type, and bookmarks.
  • Multi-select for batch-adding items to goals or starting trades.
  • Item detail pages with metadata, variants, related items, and supporting price context.

The search database is fully accessible without an account. For details, see Search and Browse.

Scores

Scores shows optional regional and global leaderboards. Your ranked goal's TopVault Score determines your position if you choose to participate.

  • Regional vs Global views for different comparison scopes.
  • All / Items / Products segments to slice leaderboards by item type.
  • Your predicted position highlighted even before official rankings update.
  • Top scoring items view to see which cards carry the most weight.

For details, see Scores and Leaderboards.

Community

Community offers news, updates, trends, and events:

  • News: announcements and collecting community coverage.
  • Updates: release notes for recent app changes.
  • Trending: collection and market context that can help you understand movement over time.
  • Events: community events and happenings.

For details, see Trending and Community.

Cross-tab workflows

Many workflows span multiple tabs. For example:

  • Search → Goals: find items in Search, multi-select them, and add to a goal.
  • Search → Collection: find an item in Search and add it to your collection.
  • Collection → Trade: select items from your collection and start a trade.
  • Goals → Scores: rank a goal to appear on the leaderboard, then check your position in Scores.

The tabs are designed to work together. You can start in any tab and move to another without losing context.
