Trending and Community ​

TopVault provides trend tracking for your goals and collection, plus a community surface for news, updates, and broader collecting context. Market activity is included as supporting information, not as the core purpose of the product.

From the Goals tab, tap Trends to open the goal trends page. This shows a multi-line chart plotting your goals over time, with each goal drawn in its assigned color.

What is tracked ​

For each goal, TopVault records periodic snapshots of:

  • TopVault Score: the quality and rarity metric.
  • Collection value: the estimated market value of associated items.
  • Item count: how many collectibles are linked to the goal.

Time intervals ​

Switch between Daily, Weekly, and Monthly views to control the granularity of the chart. Daily shows the most detail; Monthly smooths the data for longer-term perspective.

Interacting with the chart ​

  • Tap a goal in the legend to show or hide it on the chart.
  • The table below the chart lists each goal with a sparkline, current score, current value, and item count.

Goal trends are useful for seeing how quickly you are completing a set, how your collecting priorities are changing, and how score or value context shifts over time.

From the Collection tab, tap Trends to see value trends for your overall collection. This works similarly to goal trends but covers everything in your collection for the selected collection type.

Community tab ​

The Community tab has several views accessible through a segmented control:

News ​

Updates and announcements from the TopVault team. Check here for feature launches, database additions, and collecting community coverage.

Updates ​

Release notes and feature changes. This is where you find details about what changed in recent app updates.

Trend views show which items and products are moving in price so you can add context to what you are collecting. The trending view includes:

  • Items and products with notable price changes.
  • Up and down indicators showing the direction of movement.
  • Switchable intervals (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) for different time horizons.

Events ​

Community events and happenings relevant to collectors.

Sharing ​

From the Community tab, you can share trending views with others using the share button. Shared links give the recipient a snapshot of the same data you are viewing.

Staying informed ​

The Community tab is a good surface to check periodically even if you are not actively managing your collection. News and updates keep you aware of database expansions and product changes, while trend views add market context when it is relevant to your collecting decisions.
